The Hartsville Young Professionals gather to network and promote Hartsville. They also serve as ambassadors to those considering calling Hartsville home. Informally organized early in 2012 as an initiative of the Hartsville Chamber of Commerce, HYP has re-established itself during the fall of 2013 and continues to work closely with the Chamber and with the Community Foundation for a Better Hartsville.
The Hartsville Young Professionals (HYP) organization provides social, networking and professional development opportunities to new and native Hartsvillians, making Hartsville a city where young professionals want to live, work and play.
Hartsville Young Professionals are active role in the betterment of the local community by connecting members in businesses, educational institutions and nonprofits. HYP showcases opportunities for entertainment, service, outdoor fun, creative expression and other activities.
